		COMMENTS: Now this is the ULTIMATE lineup. Sister-bands Raven Wolf and Slay Ride, at the height of their greatness, kicking ass, the way it should be. I recall sitting on the sidewalk across the road from this venue, eating a chip roll having just sound checked. We played first, and when Slay Ride played, I got up and sang the words of "Take Me Tonight" with Porky of Slay Ride, but he stepped back from the mic and left me to sing all by myself! Man, that was so awesome. Although I am a horrible singer, it was so much fun, and needless to say my voice was GONE for the rest of the evening. But I clearly recall this gig as one of my favorites. There is a photo taken of me and my girlfriend Carle standing in the entrance to this venue, evey effort is being made to track it down and it will be added to the "Bonus Extras" section. [TOP]

		COMMENTS: I always enjoyed playing at The Playground, the place was always packed, and everyone was always keen to have a good time there, unlike other venues where people seemed a little shy to dive into the mosh-pit. Plus as an added bonus, The Playground was one of the better-PAYING venues. [TOP]

You'll notice that "Slay Ride" was hand-drawn in on this flyer (by none other than Shannon, the bass player) as they were not billed to play. 		COMMENTS: I always loved the Crowbar gigs. These were nearly always Sunday gigs. Lazy warm afternoons, setting up, sound-checking etc. We were always supplied with a 'pub-lunch' after our soundcheck. Free of course, and this was always great, and much appreciated. Free drinks for the band... I can remember that there was at least one occasion that we played without a PA. The drums were fully un-mic'd, and the guitars went through Marshall's. Vocals through Cliff's Peavy and of course flute/violin got a little lost, but still managed to sound really great. An odd crowd used to gather for these gigs. Sunday folk were a lot more layed-back than most crowds, and seemed to really LISTEN to the music. [TOP]

		COMMENTS: I seem to remember that "Xyster" were a metal outfit from "out of town" and were kind of doing a 'tour'. To be honest, they really made no impression on me at all, and since they were never heard from again, I guess I wasn't the only one. I found it quite funny the way the Raven Wolf logo was "shoved-in" the bottom corner of the poster, yet 90% of the crowd that gathered for this gig came to see us... [TOP]

COMMENTS: Monday nights was "Metal Night" at Raffels in Belville, and I must say, one the most enjoyable places I have ever found to "hang out". Decent music, and a relatively low retard-ratio meant a good time to be had.
More often than not, there would be no bands, just the DJ (Lance, better known as 'Lance-a-lost' who was the ONLY Metal DJ I have ever found who has great taste, so this made for great times.)
When bands DID play, it was usually packed-out, and I distinctly recall that my favorite gig OF ALL TIME was one of these. (It may even have been this one.) Sadly I did not record the date.
